The Seraph is a species of cave-dwelling owl. Many believe the Seraph to have six wings but this is a mistake. The "Wings" on the Seraph's head are more akin to the horns on Horned Owls. Likewise, many also assume that the "Head Wings" aid in hearing. This belief is also erroneous as test show that Seraphs without the "Head Wings" have no trouble hearing. It is unknown what purpose the "Head Wings" serve.
The Seraph's pattern resembles eyes and serves to scare off predators. When startled, the Seraph opens it's wings as wide as possible and starts making various screeching and clicking sounds. This display is usually very effective.
Due to the shape of the leg wings, the Seraph can't stand upright like most owls. Instead, it walks around on all fours like a bat when not in flight.
