Follow up to my Journal with Remo's toenail. We got him shoes so that when he goes outside he won't get his booboo toe wet and muddy. Lucky me, he actually REALLY likes the shoes and waits for me to put them on him. I put em on both his back feet so they are the same feel to him. Amazing boy, I'm glad you like them. Also, today's bandana is red.
Now that it's day 3 of his oopsy toe, yesterday I was finally able to get a really good look at what he did. Remo, the poor bean, lost the whole toenail. It's going to take a good while for it to grow back. So so glad he likes wearing the shoes since it's gonna be quite a bit.
Shoes: https://www.amazon.com/Winter-Booties-Adjustable-Straps-Anti-Slip/dp/B08CXN6153 Size: large Color: red Initial review day 2: Got these for my dog who injured his Toe. Visually, the shoes are a lot redder than the pictures here, and also I think they look heck tons snazzy as well. Functionally, these shoes have a very good amount of Tread on the bottom of them so that my dog is not slipping all over. The shoes have kept his paws from getting wet while I take him out to potty. The shoes fit snuggly, as I measured them to his paws (he's got smaller paws than I thought). They are wrapped via velcro on the shoe tongue and the straps. Do make sure to secure the straps around tightly to make sure they do not slip off. The straps part of them don't feel the strongest. Do make sure you put your dogs feet All the Way into the shoe. I also feel that the boots aren't tall enough for a larger dog? The part that goes up the leg. I am not using these for Long outdoor outings, so I don't know how secure they are for the feet for long distance travel. I've never bought Dog Boots before.
Dog's review: He likes them very much, to my surprise. He was able to get used to walking in them in only a day, and is already waiting for me patiently while I put them on his feet. He is a dog that doesn't like his feet touched, so this is a big deal in my eyes.
They're okay. I Might need to add on a Strap myself if the little straps don't hang on enough if i want to use them on walks.
