My dear watchers, friends and those curious, it was February 13th that marked Poppy's 4th birthday. That's right, she was first created four years ago in a 'Create a Character Workshop', and in those years, she's gained a following of admirers. If my idea to create her so long ago hadn't won that workshop idea, and if she wasn't affordable at a great price when she was uploaded to FA, I'd likely still be just some silent watcher on FA and InkBunny who occasionally remembered the best way you can help an artist grow is to point out details you like, from the lines to the shading of color. I'd like to do more of that, but alas, my depth of knowledge of art isn't very deep.
What is deep is the friendship I've built with Syrus, how her prices made so much of my art I upload affordable and wonderful, every single image. If not for her, Poppy would never have even been so much as a lingering thought. Which is why I dedicate this image to them, for all they helped me through in not just bringing my creative writing talents out, but supporting me when I sometimes really needed a shoulder to cry on. I'm proud to call them one of my closest friends who have become family to me, the sister I never had growing up. And for co-creating Poppy, and forging a legacy for her.
In this particular image, Syrus has well and truly fallen for Poppy over the years. This is to the point I'm proud, with her, to announce in the Cyralon timeline, Syrus and Poppy are the nearest and dearest of lovers. She's as much Poppy's little doll to do as she wishes to with her hypnotic gaze, as she is the most dedicated to to anyone outside her beloved Lord Cyralon and his family. With Valentine's Day, the day of love and romance so close to her birthday, it was only fitting I upload a image that shows just how dedicated to Syrus Poppy is, and what is returned to my beloved pink Chocobo.
