----- After doing the ritual again Max goes back to his normal self, giving the spellbook back to Tails, who goes to shake hands with him while thanking the detectives for accepting to help him out to become a better sorcerer.
The flash of light goes away as Max is restored to his normal self, which amazes the fox, who says:
"- Hey, great job on dealing with this spellbook. How did you even go back to nornal without collateral effects ?"
"- Well, it was a question of reading the enchanted words backwards, kid.", Max says, "- No secret about it."
"- Oh, I see.", Tails says, "- Anyway, I'd like to thank you too for taking some time of your busy life to help me out on this. I'll need all the help I can to become a better sorcerer and have total control over this book someday.", and he shakes hand with the lagomorph who gives his spellbook back to him.
"- No problem, kid.", Sam says, while patting him on his head, "- We're here to help people in need like you and serve justice."
"- And have some fun doing so.", Max says, "- I liked using that spellbook, kid. Maybe we can meet ourselves more times so I can use this for my own selfish purposes too, like making criminals so tiny I can squash them."
"- Uhm, okay.", Tails says, not knowing what exactly to say about it, "- Anyway, let's keep on training, guys."
"- May I ask you to do a favor for me first ?", Max says.
"- Yeah, sure.", Tails says.
"- Can we go for a ride, together ?", Max says, "- And I mean, the cool way, just like you came here to meet us ?"
"- Oh, of course.", Tails says, smiling to him, "- I know what you mean."
"- Cool.", Max says, excited about it, "- Then let's go!"
