After leaving the beach and going deep inside the forest while following the map's directions along the whole day the Kremling brothers see the night arriving and decide to take a rest by setting up a campfire spot near a waterfall and a small river in the dense forest of the island, and once they're done they decide to have a talk about what happened to their respective lifes while they were separated, with mostly of their memorable moments related to a certain group of meddling monkeys led by a strong gorilla who uses a red tie.
During this chat, Skurvy expresses how much he's happy to have his brother by his side on an adventure on their own with the pirate's crew without having to worry about King K. Rool or said gang of primates' interference, which he hopes to allow them to form an unbreakable bond of friendship and brotherhood which they never ever had the opportunity to experience before. Klump says he's pleased with what his brother's doing for them and that he's also happy for getting out of his usual rut and trying something new, hoping that this become the first of many opportunities he may spend together with his brother.
However while they're enjoying their rest a mysterious figure emerges from the bushes and trees from a close distance to them who studies their behavior, curious about the sudden appearance of these strangers on the mysterious island they live.
Who is this unexpected native, and what they want from the Kremling brothers ?
----- This one was slightly easier to do compared to the first one, and not only because this map screeches to a halt the framerates of SFM, causing lag like there's no tomorrow, plus how much this map is way too dark to work with. So I had to do the following: I opened the day version of the map, disabled lighting which was the culprit of so much lag and worked on my poster from there, posing the characters and putting them in their respective places, tweaking the lighting coming from the campfire after everyone is on their position. Then I loaded the night version of the map and all I had to do was to add the finishing touches, fix some poses here and there, adjust the lighting and voila, the posters is ready. One of the good things about SFM is that you learn some new things as you go, in this case, how to add a 360 degree lighting which was a life-saver to me since I didn't know this app has a cap on how much lighting you can add to a scene. I consider this to be one of my best posters since this project was strangely fun to work with.
It was really a pain to find a fitting wooden stick to Klump for him to eat his steak. I looked everywhere for one but I couldn't find it. Eventually I started searching inside SFM itself and I found the least worse model available and one who doesn't suck. So excuse me if you find that stick to be weird looking.
Also, can you guess the mysterious character which appears on the middle of the poster, right next to the campfire ? Hint: they have quite the following on Twitter and they're equally as famous to furries like the Kremling brothers. Please don't post spoilers in the comments which will be promptly deleted. However you're free to post some clues on who this character may be.
I've converted the Gmod models using this site - Steam Workshop Downloader :: IO However I had some serious work to make the DKC pack to work since they need a lot of editing to be able to be used in SFM. If you need instructions send me a note and I'll give you instructions on how to do so since posting here will take a lot of space.
----- Anyway, let's list the models I used for this thing:
