While poor Shia may never have had a chance to be anything different in his story, suffering the fate of having to endure immense hardship for his supposed "wrongdoings" despite his ultimate innocence, perhaps even for the rest of his life It's always heartwarming to see other people who wish to create new worlds in-spite of his canonical fate, who invent creative new adventures, unique worlds and stories for him where he could've had the chance to be different and in the end, prevail over the trauma and horrors he was forcefully subjected to into being a better, stronger person for it.
While Shia's fate may have already been set in stone by the creators, the way we as fans can illuminate his character as having the potential to overcome the many hardships and evils of the world, and grow to fight on against it even in the face of such needless cruelty thrust upon him and his friends in their most vulnerable of moments, may serve as a great inspiration for many of us who suffer the unfairness of life, in that even though the world may be a dark and uncaring place, and where there is much potential for wickedness and corruption to fester, which could tear down the wills of even the most innocent and noble of people, having faith in growing to be better from your experiences, and striving for the potential of a better world, not to mention, through having faith in your friends and the ones you love notwithstanding their potential struggles battling outward chaos and strife and personal inner-demons, can serve to make even the most brutal and hopeless of worlds into an opportunity to overcome, change and rebuild.

Not quite. Loona Eclipsed was the first story that I wrote prior to Sand's ending (though it was written within a week of the last few pages). It was a silly little fix-fic that didn't take itself seriously and was rushed, so it was not as good.
Star Shia came about as a thought: 'What if instead of Loona, they helped Shia instead?' that one was written well after the ending to Stars, so I took more time with it. The result was a better story overall.
Stars of Iron started as an alternate take of Loonar Eclipsed (which I kind of regret doing since I really should have had it based around Star Shia instead I think. Oh well, it's far too late to change that now, and it doesn't really matter anymore anyway) between me and another user, Joao. It's basically a Roleplay that we're doing, and it's evolved well beyond that.
So of the two 'sequels', I would recommend Stars of Iron.

Ah, I see. I was starting to read Stars of Iron but I was a bit confused since the beginning of it had Shia, Veera, and Rai missing even though they weren't in Star Shia.
Hmm... now knowing that the pact encountered Loona first and currently looking for Shia and the others, I could make adjustments to what I know from Star Shia and continue with the story.
Thanks for the explanation!

I loved this story, and I'm sure I will love the sequel to the other one too--although it's a shame it doesn't take after this one, as I've had more of a preference towards Shia, hah.
