First in pool
Nail polish
This is a very old thing. Done back in my clean days this was supposed to be my Magnum Opus.

But after putting 40+ hours into it I couldn't work on it anymore. This was all colored with a mouse! Killed my wrist.
I didn't have a tablet back then.

Characters depicted are YaoChi and Alynna and their offspring.

I've never actually seen this picture before, tho the one with me in it might need some more color ..

Yes, I really should finish this. But I lost all drive to finish the other two dragons after I worked so hard on the first one. I am so scared of it, afraid to ruin it...

I think you have alot more tools to work with now, i'm encouraging you to finish it :)  It will probably be alot easier.

Thanks ^^

But I can only do it earliest after Eurofurence. I need to prepare some art for the art auction there.

Dude... I remember those days, too. I'd painstakingly paint in each color or each scale.. How'd you get those scales on the body? Did you do this in illustrator? Maybe Photoshop, but... ? :O

First I sketched with Pencil, then did lineart with fineliner. Then scan, cleanup in Photoshop and coloration.

Each scale is handdrawn. No brush was used (i had no idea what a brush is back then). This thing is 40+ hours
