I FINALLY got art from Bombird and I couldn't be happier. I've really wanted to get some 80s retro themed stuff from him and I figured getting a ref of Sawyer's badass side kick harpy eagle Ritchie would be a great way to start off with. I've wanted to get more art of the more "canon" versions of my eagle characters rather than the more pornified versions I usually post. I really really love Bombird's style of drawing anthro birds and it's so nice to see this fella done justice by it. If you by some chance have never heard of him, go give him a watch right now.
So, WHO is Ritchie? He is Sawyer's bestie basically. The two are almost inseparable and work together kicking ass and doing what ever an 80s pair of vigilantes can be imagined doing. He is the dependable backup for Sawyer, the rescuer of damsels and charmer of ladies. Never one to miss on a good bit of fun. Ritchie is younger than Sawyer, which shows in his more daring and impulsive nature. He is definitely the more show-offy and lively of the two, but as long as one of them keeps a level head, they tend to pull each other out of trouble just fine. Originally Ritchie is feral just like Sawyer is, but this is basically him in an anthrofied universe. There is just way too much story to write down here between him and Sawyer, but I hope this picture highlights some of his nature and demeanor for your imagination.
