The same bloodline....but different outlooks and personalities.

Inspired by a scene from the first opening of Sword Art Online.

This was honestly a fun one to do, I will not deny that I loved spending so much time on it actually and I will say that Volo was a bit difficult to draw since there isn't any official artwork of his final look at the end of the game.

There was a time when I did actually hate Cynthia in the past and I honestly hate my old self for ever really hating on her, it was also for stupid and petty reasons too (has nothing to do with me losing to her actually as I never recall losing to her at any point but she did make me struggle). At this point I do actually look up to Cynthia in a way and she has become probably my absolute favorite female character in Pokemon at this point. However I can't go without saying that Volo was part of the reason she grew on me more, I liked Volo since he did have some obvious similarities to Cynthia but there were also differences too.
