Thank you very much for noticing ^U^ The shading is mostly done with small zigzagging motions that tangle into eachother and her eyes are most often a solid grey that a go over repeatedly until all but the edges look solid black. Needless to say there's a ton of ink involved but it's surprisingly easy when I use a pen in each hand -nod-

A lot of off-brand ballpoints- The common brands in the U.S. don't usually have much of a color variety. I think the orange was a 'Bridgewater' brand pen and I think the red was by 'Unison'.
