He'd heard that the ones from the land needed to breathe this stuff called "air", and always wanted to try some himself. When a lizard offered to give him some from the weird thing on their mouth, he eagerly grabbed it, put it on his own, and sucked in. The air immediately stung at his insides and burned his gills, and he quickly coughed it back out in clusters of bubbles! How could anyone even be capable of breathing that, let alone NEED it!?
