Well, guess it's time to just end my months-long hiatus. Don't feel like getting into it publicly; I'll just end it like I started it, real quiet-like. Maybe I'll just crawl back into my hole again after this though; who knows.
Anyways. I've been holding on to this series for a while now, weighing when I should be posting the lot, until in the end I kinda forgot about it. Had this idea floating in my head to doodle a few amputee RPG classes, since lost limbs seem like such a rarity in fantasy despite those worlds typically being ripe with slicey-dicey things. I'm not 100% satisfied with all of them, but I like the theme enough that I hope it'll be doing the heavy lifting.
Warriors do tend to put themselves on the front line quite a bit, so it's easy to imagine how they'd end up losing a limb or two over the years (and accumulate a few scars besides). But just because you lost a bit or two doesn't mean you have to retire.

Well it's less impressive if he needs both hands to hold it...unless he was dual-wielding them, in which case he would be scarier than a one-armed knight.
