Character Description
Feral is Sid's inner dark side who is the source of all the sloth's negativity bottled up over the year. Originally, he was a crude, snarky but friendly sloth back when he was alive.
Personality
Feral is the exact opposite of Sid's personality. He's mostly abrasive, rude, sadistic, and cruel despite living in his host's body. Notably, he has a dark sense of humor, and at times have somewhat a soft spot for anyone who's in distress. Feral has a mutual symbiotic relationship with his host, Sid as they both share the exact pain when one of them is physically injured. Despite his rough and sinister-like personality, he's more of an anti-hero type, but he can be antagonistic at times while rarely showing his kindness. He hates being betrayed as noted in his former life in later chapters, he was once a laid-back snarky but caring and friendly to some mammals up until his demise. Now as a spirit, he’s protective of his host despite the constant bickering between the two. Also, being inside Sid has been a bit beneficial for Feral, as he can access the sloth’s memories, which led the spirit to have a dislike for certain individuals that were a threat to Sid.

Background/History
Feral is a dark personality of Sid born from the sloth's bottled up negativity over the years. He was lying dormant for a while until one night, during the blood moon (aka lunar eclipse) while Sid was being attacked by Rudy, the dark personality woke up and took over his host's body to fend off the baryonyx. After Rudy left, Feral tried to kill Buck but was knocked unconscious by Momma as she saved the weasel’s life. In the subconscious, Sid argues with his dark half about his recent actions while the latter relents, and let his host be in control for now until the time he's forced to step in. In later chapters of the story, it turns out that he used to be in Sid’s position when he was alive, but more tragic than his host’s. Feral never had a name back when he was alive, as his parents were killed before he was ever named. Later years, he got mixed up with a few bad mammals (particularly a saber and mammoth) until he was betrayed and killed by his so-called friends while being left to rot. An unknown figure came upon the sloth’s corpse and uses their power to transfer his soul into a certain newborn sloth named Sid, but he was dormant until the latter’s adult years, when the red moon reawakened him.

Feral looks exactly like Sid, but in a monochrome coloring, messier fur, sharp teeth and claws, and menacing eyes with black scleras and red irises. He’s mostly surrounded by a reddish aura. Back when he was alive, he was a sloth with a dark fur color and his eyes were the same, but with white scleras.
