Where would you classify people who commit evil acts just because they can? No large agenda, no feeling of entitlement, just... because they can? (Granted, there is still some entitlement, like money stolen and pleasure gained).

It's an easy trap to fall into. First, you have a situation in which you must make a difficult choice--take the lesser of two evils. But if you don't keep it clear in your head that it still was evil--only the best choice available--then you might start thinking of it as good. And if you believe you are doing good, and therefore that anybody who opposes you is evil, then you might feel justified in doing anything to them. Until the whole world is against you and thus you are the only "good" person, considering it your solemn duty to destroy them all.
