Metropolis Heart Pg. 2
Here it is, page one of my ongoing comic. Yes it is messy (especially the bottom frame, ugh - I was aiming for speed) and yes it changes styles halfway. The reasons why are explained below. This comic is basically going to be an adventure/drama with a lot of NSFW. Chapter one has "weasel" in the title and Cream introduced on the first page. *Looks at my past submissions* Hmm... probably no correlation there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Feedback (good and bad) please!

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO METROPOLIS HEART

NUMBER ONE: The number one thing to remember is that this comic is primarily a tool to help teach myself art. this means that the style (and therefore quality) may well change drastically as often as every frame in some places as I try new things or practise others. I am also a novice, both with drawing and writing this kind of thing. While I intend to give the proper respect to certain things, don't expect Shawshank level writing. >.>

WHY AN NSFW COMIC? I've stated before that I started drawing NSFW art because, simply, there is a notable interest in it and so it's theoretically easier to receive feedback. I do also want to draw more than just sexual positions and would like to tell a story too, and maybe people might be interested in that.

YES BUT WHY A COMIC BASED OFF OF THE SONIC THE HEDGEHOG UNIVERSE? I'm not exactly the world's biggest sonic fan. my knowledge of the franchise is very, limited. however my Cream the Rabbit  works are by far my most popular, and honestly when I saw the dystopian world of (primarily) the saturday morning cartoon, with its ragtag group of inexperienced characters doing their best to be freedom fighters, i found it seemed a good world to set a darker story in. robots bad, people good, must hide from robots. it's also a little like animal survival instincts in real life, with the robotic empire taking the place of the human race.

OKAY BUT IF IT'S AN NSFW PORN COMIC WHY ARE ALL THE CHARACTERS WEARING CLOTHES!? Simply to make it mean more when they take them off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

OKAY I GUESS. ANYTHING I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE STORY FIRST? Yes: as it's a novice comic I'm laying out as I go, and since I'm forcing myself to "Stop getting hung up on planning or mistakes or bad what-ifs and just DRAW", the start is a bit... abrupt. Basically:
 - The world is mostly entirely roboticized, both in terms of people and landscape. It's much more industrial than shiny shiny sci-fi.
 - Pockets of people (are animal characters people? Sure why not) are surviving underground, often literally. There are very rare cases of unspoiled land. Some of these groups are actively and covertly resistant to their robotic overlord/s, while others are just trying to survive and keep a shred of community. Often both.

THIS ISN'T GOING TO BE FULL OF BLAND TECHNICOLOR SONIC OCS IS IT? No. While obviously there will be some OCs (especially early on), I'm going to try to keep them subtle and their roles brief. As I educate myself on the Sonic universe (I guess I should read some of the comics. Recommendations please!) I expect to expand the cast of known characters while shrinking the cast of OCs.

DOES THIS MEAN YOU'RE NOT DRAWING ANY OTHER SMUT? Naw I don't think so. One needs a break from ongoing projects after all.

A NOTE ON CONTENT: While I'm only planning ahead in vague broad strokes, I do anticipate that this comic will have a lot of sex (obviously) and violence, and with some overlap. The comic will be partially influenced by readers' interests, and for example there is a keen interest in noncon there. While I do intend to incorporate such things with the proper level of respect, I am also very aware of what people visit this site for, and a character's realistic reaction to suffering noncon and/or violence will incorporate that. I guess what I'm saying is that they will likely have a "Hollywood drama" level of... well... distress and lasting effects. It's there, it's addressed, but it's more butterflies-in-stomach level for readers as opposed to highly disturbingly accurate. Basically it isn't going to be incredibly-hard-hitting victim-documentary level, but it's also not going to be "Biff Tannen only receives a single punch and no further repercussions for the attempted rape he carried out." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (And then ends up with his own business in 1985)

Anyway, yes. For a project that centers around "stop fretting, stop planning, stop self-critisizing and just draw" I really spent a lot of time writing this to address potential and hypothetical concerns. >.> Enjoy, and further questions welcome!
