Originally drawn January 2021. It seems every winter I draw at least one drawing of Mal holding a cup of something hot, enjoying the cold. I love winter! Also this is a real sweater I own, and it is very baggy and cozy.

While I can do without winter, there is something very pleasant about art like this. Mal looks so warm and cozy in that big, baggy sweater, and the cup of hot chocolate looks so good. I really like how her hair and eyes make for such a vivid splash of color in this image, too, and the snow falling all around is nicely done. Oh hell yes, I love winter. Nice cool evening walks in my favorite jacket with a scarf and fingerless knit gloves, and a thermos full of hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps. The chilly breeze biting at my ears like an insolent lover.
