Thanks, my style combines the various art styles from the original pilot, VHS follow up, MLP and Friends series, MLPtales, and G3 series, a touch of G4 and now some of G5's refinements (visible hooves).
I try to keep my girls evolving into better- and better-looking mares and fillies.

I like how you have a mixture of "feral" and anthro ponies, although I do have a hard time dealing with the three fingers. I guess it's too alien looking to me. (Of course, I do adore Renamon and she's got 3 fingers instead of 5.)

Thanks to an artifact known as the Egg of the Phoenix most of the ponies can shift between anthro and feral. Some, like Ember there also have a full-sized horse mode.
A running gag here is that Ember and Lucky, who are siblings, will usually be seen in opposite forms. If one is quad the other is anthro.
As for the fingers, it's anatomy and evolution. The hoof is a fusion of two toes into a single structure. The most resent evolutionary ancestor of horses that didn't have a single hoof, had the proto hoof and two secondary "toes." When shifting the ponies utilize an atavisim to call up the three fingered hands.

I remember reading about the Merychippus having 3 toes (although only the middle one seems to touch the ground).
That's a cute running gag. I don't normally do transformation ideas but I never would have thought about doing that. In my current story, I have a character named Michael Thomson (a human) who wakes up from stasis to find himself living in a world populated by anthro non-ungulate land mammals. Every time he introduces himself to someone, he hears, "Thomson? Like the gazelle?" It gets so bad that every time he introduces himself, he includes, "Yes, like the gazelle."

The funniest incident, to me, about Michael introducing himself is he meets Zig Zag, Sabrina, and Sheila Vixen. As anyone who knows her knows, Sheila isn't the brightest bulb in the pack. So, when Michael says, "I'm Michael Thomson." He waits for the inevitable question but it doesn't come. He thinks she doesn't get it so he continues talking to the other two. Finally, after several seconds, he hears, "Oh! Thomson's gazelle. I get it!" That causes Michael to smile and the other two to shake their heads.

Thanks. Michael is one of my favorite human characters. He wakes up from being in stasis for 20,000 years and finds anthros instead of humans. (There are about 10 million humans left in the world.) He has to deal with prejudices and realizing he's starting to have feelings for a person his brain sees as an animal that looks human, although his heart says she's a human that looks like an animal. When I got to the point where he meets the trio I mentioned, I had to have Sheila there because she's perhaps the best-known ditzy person I've ever seen. (Maybe even more ditzy than Lucille Ball. LOL)
