A long time ago, in the now forgotten kingdom of Rosalynd, the cunning queen Amethysia ruled firmly, but fairly. Coming into power after various minor noble houses made a bid for the throne of the last king who had passed without an heir, with Amethysia coming up on top. Many suspect her soon-to-be court mage Celeste having had a hand in this development, but the accusations quieted down within the first years of her peaceful, prosperous reign, although they may not have been entirely unfounded. Soon enough, the queen found herself with a legitimate heir of her own, a daughter who was second of her name, though she’d gladly shorten it to Princess Thya before she would succeed her mother as Amethysia II.
However, unbeknownst to most, Thya would frequently assume the cloaked identity of Thorne, the Princess Thief, and menace the damsels of the kingdom with the skills and magics taught to her by her mother and Celeste.
