When Killed by the opponent you get a new Amber in your hand and When sacrificed Amber does not die And you get a new Amber and play that from your hand and if you have 2 Ambers on the field and sacrifice them they don't die and you get 2 New Amber's to play from your hand..
now all you need to take care off is to make sure that Amber is not eaten at the campfire

It's quite fun how there are many sort of secret interactions like that. Just like how sacrificing a goat to the bone-lord gives you 8 bones at the start of each encounter instead of the normal 1 (or 0 if you sacrifice a pelt)
