A slime typically found within the confines of new jersey, a very malicious and malevolent creature that seeks to abduct humans from their pokemon, just like the pred slime it will try to use methods to get the human although the problem with Devil slimes is they tend to end up using tactics that can be fatal to humans and pokemon alike. It does not care for the target well being and will do what it needs to do without regard. This type of slime should be treated as hostile and it has been known to attack pokemon on sight.

How to combat the slime: Melee is an option, as well as a ranged, which are good ways to take down the creature. shotguns are particularly effective given they like to fly a lot. They use hit and run tactics so giving them a narrower window to avoid the shots is a good option. If no ranged option is available then a well-timed swing from a weapon can knock them down. Either hit them until they melt or stun them and get away from them.
