Thought my first 2022 ACO should be of Gene in his 'hero' costume.
Why? Because I felt like it. ^_^
Gene puts on the cape whenever he and Tasli play 'Hero and Dragon': a type of live-action role play the cubs make up as they go (Tasli, obviously, is the dragon). The game is more fun when Mimi and/or Mubba participate (and they often do). :3
The costumes are humble: Gene wears an old shirt and shorts from Tasli's wardrobe, along with a hat and sword Gene made himself (the cape is from an old tablecloth). Tasli's dragon costume is a bit more complex, but more on that if/when I make an ACO of Tasli wearing it. ^^
Gene first appeared in his role of 'The Hero' in June of 2020, and has played this part here and there since then.

Bad boys aren't just for girls. I think they have a certain appeal to boys as well. What could be more quintessentially boyish than being a mischief maker?

Of course Gene was inspired by (at least) the Disney movie: he was raised on the classics, after all. :3
