Background/History

Dante the dog is one of many members of the resistance being led by Knuckles following the presumed death of the hero, Sonic the hedgehog. While Dante started out as a regular mobian, the attack on the resistance's wispon plant changed everything. During the attack led by Eggman's top henchman Infinite, Dante was exposed to an high concentration of Hyper-Go-On energy used to help power the wispons. Although he survived the incident, he was not a normal mobian. His eyes changed shape and color, much of his body became blue, and he gained the ability to utilize the Hyper-Go-On energy in his body, allowing him to use various wisp powers and forms, all of which proved useful in rescuing Sonic and defeating Infinite and Eggman. Following Eggman's defeat, Dante continues to wander the world aiding those in need.
