This is a gift art for a friend of mine who is a member here and over at Discord, based on a roleplay we've been doing involving heartbeats and stethoscope which are his/her favorite thing. What's happening now is that Kayley from the film "Quest for Camelot" has unintentionally trespassed on Mother Gothel's property and has caught her doing so, and used a bit of magic to capture her into her secret lair beneath her cottage where Kayley wakes up bound to her arms, ankles, and gagged, wondering where she got dragged into as she sees all these shelves of potions, vials, books, and other devices she never saw before, and can't break out or jump off the exam bed she is sitting on, now seeing a strange woman with black wavy hair and a red dress. The woman claims she couldn't allow her new patient to run off and begin her new studies, especially if they are trespassing on private property. Kayley demands to know why she's here before the woman introduces herself as Mother Gothel who has brought her into her lair for an experiment for both studying and punishment. Refusing to untie her, Gothel says it's her own fault for seeking out portals and trespassing, so she's not letting her go until she's finished with the test results. Before Kayley can say anything more, she is gagged again, being told by Gothel that she'll be free to go when the tests are over, but if she won't behave, she'll be sedated with the needle. Reluctantly, Kayley can only be quiet and cooperate when asked if she ever went to the doctor and if he ever listened to her heart, but it's been so long, Kayley can't remember how it felt. But she wonders what the device is that Gothel is holding (which is a stethoscope) as she calls it, insisting that it's a greater tool to look into one's soul and telling Kayley she'll be a special patient and that warriors are a true rarity in this world. Kayley can do nothing but sit up and hold still, gagged once more as a precaution, feeling awkward, surprised, and chilled as she watches Gothel unbutton her purple top and slide it around her shoulders to move it down carefully, and then unties her other dark orange shirt, speechless to see Gothel move that one down, making sure it stays down during the exam, with her shoulders and chest half exposed as Gothel says it's time to listen to the battlecry of a warrior's heart. Kayley can only stare in confusion, awkwardness, and speechless as she silently watches Gothel press that piece into her half-bare chest, examining where her heart was located, and by now Kayley doesn't know that her heartbeat has the tune and rhythm of a loud battle drum as if marching off to battle and leading warriors that followed. Gothel smiles at the tune inside and asks Kayley if she feels the raging force, even though Kayley can only mumble in response, and the gag is removed for a clear answer, now wondering what Gothel hears down there. Rather than answer clearly, Gothel gets another device that allows Kayley to hear her own strong, drumming heartbeat, and to hear it more clearly, Gothel tells her to take a deep breath repeatedly until her heartbeat is heard, filling the whole room and causing her chest to thump rapidly and loudly. This leaves Gothel to run a few more tests coming up, such as taking a journey into her soul by using Kayley's emotions to seize control of her heart's rhythm, whatever that means. She soon finds out when Gothel tells her to take several deep breaths for a minute or two, puffing out her half-bare chest. When it's almost over, Gothel says Kayley's heart is sharing her emotions with her and that no warrior can hide their feelings within the heart that knows all, and would pound madly once finding true love and realizing those feelings. By now, it's almost over, but before letting her go, Gothel questions Kayley if she understands what she is talking about by feeling the ability to love that her heart responds to, the rate and frequency allowing it to be a blessing to those who love her, and questions if she is ready to apologize for trespassing, to which Kayley responds that she understands everything Gothel says and is sorry for trespassing. After that Kayley is released, but not before Gothel says that if there is anything more she is curious about or wants to do this again, she is welcome anytime, but only if she knocks on the door from now on instead of the other way around.
