It was Christmas Eve in Station Square and all of the friends, couples and families within the city were celebrating the holidays in their own unique ways. Many of the citizens were having parties at local restaurants, bars and park areas, others were visiting friends and family in the next city over. Sophie Miller, however, had invited Lilly, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Omega, Amy, Vanilla, Cream and Cheese to her house for a pre-Christmas day party. Everyone enjoyed themselves at the affair, but once everyone had left, it was obvious that both Sonic and Shadow had disappeared. Turns out that the boys had, once again, challenged each other to a race, in their Super forms. After proving, once again, that he was still the fastest, Sonic was taken aback as Shadow gently placed his hands onto his shoulders and looked deeply into his eyes. Sonic's muzzle lit up in a whole new shade of red as Shadow confessed his love to him, right then and there, with nothing but the sky, stars and clouds behind them.
This was pretty much the scenario that was in my head whilst I was drawing this~ x3
