Omg, I love this! Sonic and Shadow arguing and then making up is so cute! The angles and perspectives of the hedgehogs looking up and down the stairs is amazing.
It's interesting how you had the whole comic colourless, until they make up. Was that intentional to add to the tension in the relationship? I love the little Easter Eggs in this comic. Idk much about DMC or the merch on the bookshelf apart from the rings and maybe that red pair of shoes, but what surprised me is that the moon is still broken in this universe. What is that capsule thing behind Sonic's head when he says his back is freezing?

Yes, I've been planning to play with colours like that for a while now. To emphasize how the boys are feeling and how they see the world around them during certain mood. This is my first try, and it was really scary to do, but I think I did it not bad.
Oh I just needed to throw some stuff on the background, so I did the first things that came to mind - Sephiroth and Zack's busts for FFVII, then that egg.... It's really stupid, it's Humpty-Dumpty from the Puss in Boots movie. The games they argue about are indeed the hints to DMC games :D

Honestly, this brought back memories from back in 2010s when I was a huge fan of Sonic X and loved Sonadow so hard (I still do obviously, ghgh)! The fact that in the end they both accept each other's flaws, Sonic's snoring and Shadow's drooling — I'm a drooler myself... it's so annoying — is so wholesome all I wanna do is scream, hah!
