I adopted this little guy from TuesdayTamworth from DA, allow me to introduce you all to Prince Veramor.

Veramor, born a male lion with tan fur and green eyes. He also had a brown tufted tale. Veramor was born a lion prince to an ancient family in the Southern reaches of Africa. He was the son of his mother, the Queen Jaelia and his father, the King Vera. Veramor also had four older brothers, but he never knew them, nor his father.
Veramors father, King Vera, was well respected by his pride and the animals of his kingdom when he was a prince, then king. But besides meat, King Vera also consumed black flowers that grew in a fields just on the borders of the land. The black flowers were named the Flower of Insanity and could cause one to go Mad if eaten continuously. Vera had eaten so many flowers over the years, that it drove him insane. He believed everyone, except for his family was conspiring against him, attacked animals without warning and forced members of his own guard to fight to the Death.
Eventually, the animals revolted against King Vera when he set all the fields on fire, killing many. At the time, Queen Jaelia gave birth to Veramor. When King Vera saw the end was near, he sent his mate Jaelia and newborn son Veramor away, while he and his eldest sons stayed behind to fend the animals off.
Queen Jaelia, Veramor and the members of the Guard and Pride who were loyal to her fled north. It didn’t take long for word to reach Jaelia of the death of the king and her sons. By decree and right of birth, Veramor was proclaimed the new King when he came of age.
Veramor was was tutored, trained and raise by his mother and the guard. Veramor was a rather happy and joyful cub, but found his lessons tiresome because he and his pride were constantly traveling north. Eventually, they came across a lion pride who was led by a Black male Lion named Xion. After discussing terms, Queen Jaelia and Xion arranged to have Veramor marry Xions young daughter Alria.
Jaelia and her pride joined with Xions and lived in a set of abandoned ruins built within the mountains. Veramor became very good friends with Alria, as well was the other cubs in Xions pride. They liked to play in the fields, rivers and sometimes the mud. Veramor and others liked to play a game they called Royalty, where they pretended to be King and Queen and their subjects. Veramor liked playing king because he got to wear leaves around his head.
Every morning, Veramor would go to a window in the main hall of the ruins that faced South and look out to the fields. Veramor had been told stories by his mother about his homeland, brothers and father, but wanted to see his home with his own eyes. Veramor knew one day he would return to his kingdom, bring peace and take his rightful place as the new King.
