Harmony just a tiny one was into fairytales and always wanted to believe that everyone falls in love at first sight. So she asked her Daddy Sonic if that's what happened with him and at the time mama Ash. Sonic wanted to sugar coat their first interaction, Ash slight truth (his auntie's teachings peek out) even after that Harmony still believed in fairytales but getting older she realized what her papa said was true, fairytale love at first sight is a lie.
