One of the few unfortunate things for me about the Donkey Kong Country series is that I have never, ever enjoyed Diddy Kong's design. Shame, as he's the protagonist of one of my favorite games of all time! He's just never looked appealing to me. As he was intended to be Donkey Kong Jr. initially, it's obvious they spent little time revamping his look, once the idea changed. He's supposed to be the small, nimble counterpart to Donkey Kong's bumbling strength, but he's portly and not much smaller then DK! While I do like that Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze have made Diddy much smaller to better fit this role, he still has an ugly, off putting design that I don't are for... but as I am want to do, I took his design into my own hands and made something I would like and better exemplified the speedy, acrobatic monkey he's supposed to be and I'm pretty happy with it in the end.
