Character Sheet for Norwood Mudwater
Character Description
Norwood is extroverted and tends to be a jokester with a likeness for teasing others. Although he tries to think positive and be hospitable, he tends to use curse words sometimes. He loves to hangout with others if given the opportunity. When alone, he likes to explore and travel the forest, but sometimes he brings friends with him. He likes to prepare before exploring, but is good at surviving on his own. He is not school smart at all, but has some decent common sense.
He can be a bit of a glutton sometimes and thinks a lot about food. If his friends go somewhere to eat, he will want invited as well. He loves stashing food when possible inside his treehouse, preparing at least up to a couple of weeks. He does not like the school food usually, so he brings a sack lunch to school with what he likes to eat.
Despite his love for food and being a bit chubby, he exercises constantly. Most of his exercise is his love for climbing the trees within the forest every day. Due to constant practice, he is the best climber within the local area and can navigate up most surfaces with ease. His tail is strong and he can maneuver it to hold objects of light to medium weight or to hang himself on a tree branch. He is also decent at digging due to his mom teaching him. He is a poor swimmer and usually floats in the water helplessly if trapped in the river. He is afraid of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Norwood loves his tail, always sleeping on top of it even if inside his bedding nest at home. Sometimes he nibbles on it when bored.
He had a short love relationship with Meowsen the Espurr, but now they are only friends. Bunzel the Buizel is his half-brother where they talk about life and do masculine activities together. He has a friendly rivalry with a Growlithe named Victor. He is great friends with Fang the Poochyena and Bonead the Houndour, who are Victor's younger brothers. Norwood knows about Erika the Cherrim for reasons that are abnormal to him. He is acquainted with Bre the Umbreon. He has a Joltik pet named Casey which lives with him.
Norwood has a single parent and he has no idea at all who his father is. His mom lives in a burrow under the tree. Norwood's mom tends to not care at all what his son does, but takes good care of him and spoils him somewhat. She has an addiction to gummy drinks and goes to the bar often at night. Sometimes, she goes out with other adult Pokemon, where it is sometimes taken beyond a simple kiss and hug.
World/Setting
Norwood lives in a treehouse bounded by brown, wooden walls and oak resin on the edge of Stifstik forest. His mother lives in a burrow below him. He doesn't have much in terms of value, but the single room inside the treehouse has a nest of bedding, worn clothes scattered about, a plain chair and table set with a candle in the center, and a large hole on one side of the house for food storage. It's difficult to keep the treehouse clean. Norwood also attends school, but his grades need work.
There are two entrances into the room. The front entrance is covered with cloth to help preserve heat. That entrance has horizontal wood planks nailed into the tree that act as a ladder to help inexperienced climbers into that entrance. The other entrance is a hole which leads to a large tree branch. A rope is attached to the branch which is attached to a clothes basket.
Body
Norwood is a Pachirisu with a yellow stripe from the front of his forehead to the tip of his tail. He has yellow cheeks. He has brown ears and brown-tipped lower paws. His upper paws are all white fur. Norwood has green eyes. He has a large tooth in the front of his mouth. The rest of his fur on his body is white. The spikes on his tail and the markings in front of his ears are cutout on the center end in a triangular shape, leaving two small triangular spikes in each area (see visual reference).
Clothing
Norwood usually wears yellow briefs and light-brown khaki shorts. He does not like wearing shirts at all as they get in the way for him, but he might consider a coat if it is too cold outside. Sometimes while in privacy, he wears purple panties given to him from Meowsen.
