One of Two Lion Cubs I adopted from HekimaTheWhiteLion from DA. This is Tala, he is the son of Tojo and Nala.

Tala was born to the Lions Tojo and Nala, blessed with his Parents fur, His Mothers Eyes and his Fathers facial Features and Mane. Tala was born in the Pride Lands during Scars Reign. Tojo and Nala had each others backs when they tried hunting for food. They spent most nights together trying to keep warm and then spent one night together in more ways than one. Nala soon learn she was carrying Tojos cub. When she started showing, Nala and Tojo managed to sneak away to a cave just on the border.

Nala eventually gave birth to a son, but knew if Scar found out, he would certainly kill him. After the cub was born, Nala had Tojo take their son away from the Pride Lands and not to return. After Tojo fled the Pride Lands, He named his Son Tala.

Tojo took Tala as far as he could. They went South Following the river. Tojo came to a large Forest that was filled with many animals. They all wore jewelry made from feathers and Bones. Tojo was greeted by the Animals and was taken deep into the Forest to a large clearing where he saw several Animals sitting together on a series of Rocks. There was a Baboon, Buffalo, Cheetah, Leopard, Gazelle, Zebra, Rhino, Hippo, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Monkey and a Lion.

Tojo was told he was in what was known as the Grasslands which was made up of and led by different Animals call the High Council. The Animals Of the Grasslands also Bordered with a Forest called the Shadow Lands that were filled with Lions, Hyenas, Panthers, Gorillas and Leopards that Loved to Fight. Tojo then met with the Lion of the Grasslands Council who was named Hoka and he welcomed Tojo and his son into their Home. Tojo told the animals of their troubles and he was given a cave to live in.

Growing up, Tala loved playing in the Grasslands with the other animals. He especially made great friends with Hokas only Daughter, Jila. After they Talked, Hoya arranged for Tala to marry his daughter Jila when they came of age and Tojo was made an advisor on the Council. Tala began spending his days learning from Hoka. He was given an gold hoop earring with a Blue feather that was placed on his Left ear and a Purple feather was attached to his mane. He also started wearing Claw bracelets on his front paws.

Tala learned much about the Grasslands and its customs. He was told that they tend to stay away from the Shadow Lands to avoid conflict. Most nights, Tala would look up at the stars in the sky. He would think about his mother Nala. He only heard stories about her from his Father and hoped to meet her one day.
