This is gift art I received from SalemNoireX after having sent him a gift in the mail. It features my fursona playing the kokle, a string instrument from Latvia, in a forest. This came as a complete surprise, since I did not expect anything in return. I am amazed not only by how wonderfully he captured my fursona, but also by the fact that he included the exact kokle which I own in real life. It was truly a thoughtful gesture and I am very thankful.

Well, I don't know a lot about the koto, but basically, you can strum it and pluck the strings individually.

the koto has 13 strings strung across a plank, with individual bridges beneath each string which are moved to change tunings. the strings are plucked and strummed with a square plectrum tied to the fingers with seaweed. its kinda similar to a harp in its technique/sound
