When Daisy was young, she was given the gift of life magic from her late mother Marigold, whose ancestors knew the Fauns from the Evergreen Village of the Grand Mystic Islands of Skylands, the fauns of two separated worlds exchange gifts where the fauns of Avalar were given artifacts that grant Magic, Life, and Light Elemental powers of Skylands while the fauns of the Evergreen Village were given the Crystal of Hope, which grants them courage, hope, and the will to protect them from any threat.
Ever since hers and Stampy's mother was tragically killed by Malefor's Ape and Grublin army during the three years Spyro and Cynder are trapped in crystal, Daisy dedicates her life to protect those she cared about using her powers of life.
She can even bring dead plants back to life.
It is because she loved her dear late mother so much and wants to carry on her legacy.
