I cant sleep I cant sleep I cant sleep

This was fun to do, and fast. I used to do realism all the time some years ago but got bored of it, but now I feel like drawing realistic things again. This actually took me less time than my usual style, which is obviously a sign that I need to get back to my realism roots.
I like that he actually still looks like his age despite that this isn't done in my usual style.
And have I ever said how much I love his crooked nose? It's really pretty.

The inability to get some decent sleep... hoo-boy, join the insomnia club! :/

A shepherd/pitbull... that's an awesome mix if I've ever seen one! He turned out amazingly well too, especially through this ideal "realism" technique of yours. He's got such a somber expression... I can only imagine what he's thinking at that exact moment. His crooked... well, perhaps semi-crooked, nose is a very well-emphasized characteristic feature, dutifully accompanied right along with the texturing/shading of his fur and hair. I believe this sketch proves that even the most sporadic of creative ideas can sprout up even during the middle of the night, as opposed to smack-dab in the middle of a sunny afternoon.

But I digress... a lack of sleep, remember? XD

All in all, this is a sweet piece of art! <3

I love hybrid-mixed species - especially in canines. Something about them really makes a lasting impact. Very pretty creatures!
