If there is one thing that Trial enjoys to use in his favour, is to use his charm to attract others in his radar. And it appears there was a jackal in his sights. You can't blame him, because Infinite does seem to be a joy to hold.
And that charm surely worked, given that not only the large echidna is holding him, but also with Infinite comfortably sitting on his lap. Eye contact and reciprocation of affection all included.
This evening won't end so soon and affection is not the only thing that will be involved.
