Page 6: Hunt and Gather.

The Barbics had not brought much with them either, least of all food. The quick tunnels were all but caved in ruining most of the quick cars. It was hours down the treacherous mountain path for the hunting and gathering parties, which never yielded much. It was hard and dangerous work, exposing them with no place to hide. More energy was spent getting the food than what it provided.

Writer's note: I tried to keep this from being too gruesome but, I wanted to show just how much work goes into what we eat everyday and how much effort is needed just to makes ends meet.
