This isnt really a gf/bf thing, Chuck is just really friendly to all his friends. So he doesnt mind holding hands with girls even if he's just there friend. After all to him his friends are his friendly, but that doesnt stop Rosemary or any other girl from having a crush on him regardless.
If I was allowed to do a season 2 or reboot of High Guardian Spice id have Chuck in there, who in truth is stronger then anyone in that dimension.
