neat fundoshi, but ya know, the traditional ones will split in the back when you do them wrong; leaving room for a tail in this case.

but, nothing wrong with a banner-type over hang in the front, I don't see a need for this to coincide with shorts though.

Maybe assless shorts, like chaps, would work well with this kinda of garment. Give the thighs working room for excercise, fighting and what not.
