decided to make a 3D model in addition to the character sheet (https://inkbunny.net/s/2513856). i haven't figured out yet how to make the paws and stuff look good but already with the proportions of the rest being pretty accurate I think it's going to be a helpful addition for me to draw him from different perspectives accurately ^.^
