After detecting an immensely powerful unknown energy signature in a neighboring town, Mojo Jojo went on a secret mission to find its source, which turned out to be from quite an unexpected one... an old, discarded video game cartridge. Upon retrieving that cartridge, he returned home to his laboratory, using his experiments to discover the reason for the cartridge's hidden power: a rouge AI known simply as "Master Computer." Intending to use Master Computer's abilities to help with his evil plans, Mojo Jojo struck a "deal" with the AI: Use his abilities to take the Powerpuff Girls out of the picture, and serve him, and Mojo Jojo will not destroy his "cartridge prison," thus ensuring he will not be destroyed. Master Computer begrudgingly agreed, and this dangerous (but frail) alliance had been formed.
The following day, Mojo Jojo enacted his master plan, committing a phony robbery to garner the attention of the Powerpuff Girls, leading them back to his lair, where Master Computer would make his move: digitizing Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, and trapping them on his Game Grid, where they would be forced to fight a never ending gauntlet of enemies until their inevitable defeat and ultimate destruction, while Mojo Jojo's rise to power goes unopposed.
Unfortunately for Mojo Jojo, Master Computer had managed to gain just enough control of his inventions to enable his game to be plugged into the mainframe, and spread his corruption through the system, allowing him to gain control of all Mojo's weapons and resources, so he could start his own quest for world domination. All was not lost, however, as Mojo was able to escape from his lab before he could be digitized, himself. Now in order to stop Master Computer, Mojo Jojo must work together with Professor Utonium to rescue the Powerpuff Girls from Master Computer's clutches before he causes irreparable damage to Townsville, and eventually... the world.
After over a decade (in an older picture not posted here) that the Powerpuff Girls return once more to the Game Grid, and this time with an in-universe twist. Instead of just Disney's Master Control Program as the villain (or "Moses" as everyone kept saying because my design for him was inspired by that concept) it's Master Computer from Dexter's Laboratory, making this a sequel story to that series' episode with the same name.
Would have been a cool way to integrate the 2 universes even more.
