So I've drawn 12 different versions of this and now that I feel like I'm actually going insane I've decided to upload 3 of them... Almost uploaded more but decided to just send the ones I numbered. Why do this? Because I get to do a Blazblue and Guilty Gear cross over and that makes me happy.
Version 1
I tried to make this one look like a pencil sketch but this one ended up being a Black and White version and honestly looks very cool.
I kind of wished I made this one more complicated and detailed but I quite like the simplicity with it and adding more would have ruined it. Maybe should have made the hair more visible though.
Version 2
The Jubei I and the five other people who have ever genuinely heard of this character know! Went with a traditional cartoony style for this one. This was one of the first ones I did although I didn't like how it turned out at first so I tried to make it have more depth with more complicated colours and shading but it just ended up looking dirty... Which I actually liked!
After all Jubei is a fighting game character! In fact I got a bit too excited and I started to make a guro version... Yes, a gore version without the lovely orange coat! I was about 75% of the way through before I realised that no one wanted this version. I just need to do some touch ups on the ears and hair then just shade and clean up and then I could send it out to the world and make it a worse place.
Most of the pose attempts that aren't getting uploaded are like that. I try to do it in a certain style before realizing it's awful or I just realize that what I'm doing is a mistake and that I should be writing right now instead of drawing anyway.
Version 3
Look, young Jubei! I really should try this one more often. Overall this one actually was a pain to draw since I decided I should only use one layer and use a technique I've never used before! AND THEN DECIDE THIS IS THE ONLY ONE WHERE I'LL MAKE IT BE YOUNG JUBEI! Apart from my stupidity I love how the legs turned out but I'll have to use more complicated colours next time since all that yellow-ish orange kind of just merges and it's impossible to tell where the hood ends and the arms start.
Oh, and then because my brain works different I gave Jubei a Jack-O baby servant face... Gonna get thrown at Nagoriyuki until Testament gets added in season 2... Or A.B.A... Knowing Daisuke's Vision we'll be getting Leopaldon or Bedman's sister.

I think I should stop being so crazy and just practice one style since having a art style might be important in... art... But I also need to get back to writing so maybe I'll just take a break from drawing and actually get stuff done. I mean... It took so long that I'm sure it won't be Halloween when this is uploaded so that's not good.
