Freaky alien beastie invades an antarctic research station and starts wreaking havoc among the inhabitants. It can change shape and assimilate its victims so nobody knows who's a real person and who's the monster, so paranoia mounts while they try to figure out how to survive, and keep the monster from escaping. Quick and dirty, and doesn't really do it justice, but it's a fantastic movie and if you enjoy horror films, especially that incorporate psychological fears, you really should check it out!

Gosh, I so need to see that movie again. The scene with the dogs scares the hell out of me every time! The art is fantastic, too. Somehow, the "normal" expression is creepier than the huge fanged, drooly mouth popping out of his head. Monsters than can think, and enjoy your fear and pain, as he clearly does, are always scarier!
