Hiding out on the streets in a futuristic dystopia, many people know the name 'Clicks'. Unknown to most, though, this man's true name is Prof. Charles Hedgehog, known as Uncle Chuck to the speed demon of the city. Despite his unassuming appearance, this man is both intelligent and inventive, supplying underdogs with unique and powerful weapons forged by his mechanical hands. While not a fighter, he knows a thing or two about playing dirty in the thick of it. Chuck's nickname comes from his unique footwear. Rather than wear shoes, his feet are adorned with gold chains and toe rings. However, he curiously wears one of them upside down, causing the gem to click occasionally on the ground. It doesn't help with stealth, but it has a special purpose. If he ever finds himself caught in a precarious situation, the ring on his left toe has a false bottom which functions as a battery and switch. Pulling the middle chain connected to the ring will cause the gem to flash a bright white light. It's essentially a covert flashbang, allowing Chuck to make an escape or pull out his own weapon. The technique is nicknamed the Sole Flash, for obvious reasons, though why he chose to make this form of self-defense is a mystery to the other citizens... However, one can be sure that while a bit eccentric, Clicks is one of the best secret weapons they have in their fight for freedom. |
