Except of course that all cartoon animals are a little bit human and carry on a lot of human behaviors regardless of the animals they resemble (such as wanting non-procreative sex or having a concept of marriage rather than just following instincts, which in the fox's case actually do involve mating for life).

True, I went with what works for a joke and the fact they are pretty humanized ferals, if you can call them real ferals at that point. Is Yogi bear a Feral or a Anthro? I think as soon as they use tools and have hands more often than not, they are Anthro playing a Feral, like an actor.
