Background: Tyrosh, that was the only name I’ve never known. It was the name I was born with, given to me by those Wretched Kabuno Arachnids. I was taken away from parents that I never knew as a baby and forced to live as both a slave and an experiment on the Kabuno Islands. From the moment I could walk, I was forced to fight, increase my bodies muscles. I fought with other slaves on the island, which the Arachnids came to call their Fighters.

The Arachnids kept me cocooned in their webs, but left my head alone like the others. When I was in the webs, I would struggle day and night, trying to get free, but the webs wouldn’t budge. The Arachnids kept me cocooned in a Cell, locked in the cages that hung from the castle walls, they even strung me from the walls in their halls and laboratories as a decoration.

By the time I was 21, the Arachnids forced me into their Main Laboratory to give me Eternal Life. Many of the Fighters were about the same age, some were older when they obtained immortality. By then I had a strong and muscular body. After being force fed the potion, all I could feel was pain and agony. When it was all over, I felt different. I had no feeling of emotions and my senses were more sharpe than ever. I wasn’t the same coward I once was but I still had my distaste’s.

Fighting the others was more enjoying, I felt no fear and became more skilled in my fighting than ever. The Arachnids continued to have me wrapped in their webs and I struggled like I always did. They mainly cocooned me because I had managed to kill several of their Fighters they thought were promising. I showed no Mercy what so ever and that’s how I became known as the Merciless.

The Arachnids thought I had potential as well, but hated that I kept killing their Fighters. I also kept swimming in the ocean within the Barrier surrounding the island, trying to escape. I kept on doing this for years and years. Once day, I killed three high ranking Arachnids and they decided to have me preserved. They cocooned me and gave me a potion that put me to sleep. When I finally awoke, I was in a cell, greeted by an Arachnid holding a staff. He told me his staff dissolved my cocoon and the effects of the sleeping potion. The Arachnid explained that I had been asleep for the better part of a Thousand Years.

As he talked, I just kept silent, slightly gazing at the staff. I quickly charged at the Arachnid, killed him and took his staff. I ran as fast as I could to the beach and jumped into the ocean, swimming towards the barrier. I used the staff to break the barrier, but it was strong, I could barely squeeze through, but managed to get through the barrier. I survived and healed quickly as I kept on swimming, not looking back. I swam straight East, Knowing that the Realm of Xodia was in that direction. During my days as a Child, the Arachnids lectured us about the Realm of Xodia.

I almost exhausted myself when I finally reached the Shore. When I saw Xodia, it was unlike anything I had seen. The Kabuno Islands only had a few patches of grass, palm trees and nothing but stone and sand surrounded by water. I saw sand going into a field of grass that led to a road surrounded by forests. I looked around the beach and I saw a body. It was nothing more than a skeleton with torn clothes, but a cloak that remained in tacked. I grabbed the cloak and put it on and I followed the road.

I encountered several thugs and bandits. I fought and killed them without hesitation or mercy. The villagers and travelers thought I was scary, but they thanked me for helping. I was given food and some clothes and I continued my travels. I knew that Xodia was awaiting me, but where I was going, that was still a mystery.
