Per Toss Elm (Per, Toss, El-mn), also known as Perelm (Per-El-mn), is a Glidori who lost his parents to the Vesmican invasion of his home nation of Tamparin, he was eventually found by pirates who took him in and raised him as his own. He eventually became a master marksman and assassin for hire, but after his last job went bad, he had to go into hiding. But throughout his career as an assassin, he broke the lawless code a few too many times, leading to his wealth and ship getting stolen from him by other pirates, leaving him stranded on the lawless planet of Pyrum for years.
