Laugh so hard that I'm surprised I didn't snort out coffee all over my desk! I love all the expressions and on poor Katia as she dreads her fate, and the guard is pretty neat too, for a mean but very decent looking dude. Cat rug almost brought me to tears too... but I have to admit the whole scene looked pretty cozy otherwise. The resolution caught me totally off guard, and the guard off.. well, you know. His expression was priceless, and her plaintive look as she presented her handiwork is terrific.
Her confusion in the last scene as she leaves the dreaded place, especially being paid for her work, is just awesome. As is the idea of a welcome mat to go with the palisades and skulls-on-a-stick.
Oddly, I also like the scenery details, like the mountain stronghold, guide (rock) pile (but what's in that chest). Awesome work. :)

Awesome! I love prequel, but it's so sad seeing poor Katia try and fail and fail and fail. It's good to see her succeed for once, even if just in a fan comic.
