While Bowser loves to torment the denizens of the Mushroom Kingdom in his quest for Peach's attention and her cooking, when it comes to winding down with Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings, he lets a side of himself show that only they are witness to. With them wiggling into pajamas to keep warm before going back in their shells, they settle themselves in on either side of him while he reads a story. His big fingers and claws make handling books a nightmare, but he'll do anything for his kids.
It's not long before they're all dozing, cuddled against each other, and he's able to gently toss the book away to Kammy. With soft snores and other happy noises of sleep, he takes a moment to bask in the comfort. He may not be a good conqueror, but he's a dang good papa, and he knows he can go to sleep himself knowing the little ones are comfortable and content for another night.
