Living with the purple bat all the time and being in a relationship means that Yooka is, obviously, used to his partner's quirks. This can also cause issues when he no longer see/notice some aspects of her that others will be noticing.

When Laylee meet some random idiot and an awkward stare-off ensues, each character end up interpreting the situation very differently.

(Notably, Yooka believe the rando guy is checking Laylee off, the guy is actually going 'Why is that bat's nose so freakin' huge?', and Laylee is staring at him thinking he's insufferable and want to bite him)

In short? The title of this sketch is very accurate ; misunderstandings abound!
