Shimmers was having a nightmare as he was getting cold sweats all over his body as he was talking in his sleep. "No, Nooo Noheart please, don't!" Shimmers shouted in his sleep tossing and turning seemingly unable to escape his own dream. In the dream Noheart was standing on a cloud with Shimmers battling Noheart right in front of the whole carebear family. Shimmers did a over head saber strike and avoided Noheart's purple lightning as Shimmers cupped his paws together and shouted. "Kaaashikkayh!!!!" Shimmers shouted as his paws lit up for a moment but then the power left his paws.
"MuahahahaI see your powerless in your new form!" Noheart said coldly striking him with his purple lightning knocking Shimmers into a wall continually striking him while Trueheart watched on helplessly.
"SHIMMERS! Help him Magi, why are you not helping?" Trueheart said with a tearful expression on her face facing Loveheart who had a cold expression on his face.
"Because you tried to replace us with him as your new protector that's why." Loveheart grinned as his eyes were red in this dream.
"Yeah, Trueheart you rejected us and accepted your new cub! Now let him stand or fall!" She said giggling evilly as Shimmers had shock burns all over his fur and blood drooping down his forehead as his body hit the clouds lifeless beneath the clouds as if some kind of barrier dropped as Trueheart dropped to her knees and hugged him tightly.
"Ohh my cub! My CuuuUUUUHHHHH!" She cried out in pain as Shimmers woke up with a start. "TRUEHEART!!!" Shimmers shouted as his heart raced realizing he was in his own bedroom as he had to calm his own breathing as he heard loud knocking at the door.
"Shimmers are you okay? Are you in there?" Trueheart said concerned out side of his door. After what seemed like a few long minutes for Trueheart, She heard scampering in the inside of his door. She quickly opened the door as she saw a sweaty Shimmers. "Whoa Shimmers are you okay?" She asked placing her paws on his shoulders. "I heard you shouting in there." She said concerned.
"I'm fine Trueheart, I'm fine." He said as he hugged her tightly which she didn't expect as she hugged him back snuggling him.
"Well, okay, aww, what was that for?" She asked blushing a bit.
"I'm just glad your okay. I. I dont know what I do if Noheart ever hurt you or worse." Shimmers said. "Without my powers, I. I,,," Trueheart quickly realized what happened as she looked him in the eyes and nuzzled noses with him.
"WHOA its okay Shimmers I am here." She said hugging him as Shimmers couldn't help it as he cried in her arms openly. "You only had a nightmare, it wasn't real." She reassured him consoling him. "I'm here for you." Shimmers hugged her tightly and cried in her arms as she held him comfortably. No one else seem to be around as he cried for a good five minutes in her arms till he wiped his tears away. "Its okay, just relax." She encouraged. "Why don't we go in and get you ready for the day?" She said kindly as Shimmers sniffled and nodded as they both entered his house. Shimmers got into his shower as she got his soap and hand cloth to wash with and two towels for him to dry with as she waited outside his bathroom. Shimmers took his shower, and brushed his teeth and Trueheart entered as he was wrapped in in his towels. "You look cute in those towels." She said making him smile and blush as he brushed his teeth happily. "Aww, is my cub happy?" Shimmers couldn't help but smile back as she kissed him on the cheek and nuzzled his cheek as he brushed his teeth. Shimmers finished up rinsed his mouth and the two left his house holding hands together.
Shimmers and Trueheart, headed for the cafeteria once more as they had there usual breakfast but not just with Aqua and Lone, he also had Braveheart, Nobleheart, and Champ bear there all present. This time it was Champ bear who was looking down as he hardly was eating and looking sad.
"Champ bear, you hardly touched your food, is everything okay?" Shimmers asked sitting next to him looking at him concerned.
"To be honest no," He said looking down. "My wife hasn;t talked to me since our fight last night." He explained.
"Who's your wife?" He inquired. "Cheer bear?" He asked. Champ bear looked at him curiously.
"No, Confidence Heart fennec, the one who tried to mistreat you yesterday." He said looking away ashamed at the way his wife acted. Shimmers looked at him shocked but contnued to listen. "I confronted her for this awful behaviour she has been doing lately, when she is not like this. She is not like this." He said as a tear escaped his eyes. Shimmers placed a loving arm around him as Champ bear began to cry in his arms. "I miss her! What happened to my wife?" He said sobbing as he placed his head deeply in Shimmers chest as Shimmers rubbed his back affectionately.
"Its okay Champ bear, she is still there, she is just going through a faze right now," He reassured him trying not to cry himself as the rest of them looked on sympathetically. "She loves you right? She'll come back to you." Shimmers said reassuringly as Champ bear whailed louder in his arms as Aqua bear also came over and hugged the sportsmen. After this session, Champ bear wiped his tears away.
"Why does she not trust you Shimmers? You didn't do anything to her." He said feeling torn and broken by this.
"I don't know champ, but what I do know is in all of this, she has to find out for herself who I really am. But its up to her to make the effort. Its not your fault, no one's but those that wish to be blind by there own emotion." Shimmers explained as Champ bear sniffled.
"Your right, I think I will go on a caring mission, I need something to distract myself sportsfan. Have a good rest of your day and thank you." Said the sportsment managing a weak smile before waiving his new friend off leaving the cafeteria. Shimmers waived to his friends as Trueheart placed her paws on his shoulders.
"Shimmers that was a very nice thing you did for Champ bear." Trueheart said looking at him proudly.
"Hey, I'm a carebear now right? Its what I'm suppose to do, were suppose to care for one another," Shimmers said smiling which made Trueheart hug him tightly and made Shimmers giggle.
"That's my cub," She said nuzzling noses with him. "Are you ready to try to activate your caring powers again?" She inquired looking closely at him face to face.
"You bet!" Shimmers said smiling as this day was starting off so much better for the sandy brown bear. As the two held paws together, Shimmers had much better motor control over his new body as they both heard the shouts of "STARE!" and "CALL!" Shimmers positioned himself in front of the beastly target as he cupped his hands together and.. "Kashikakayha!" His paws lit up and unleashed his attack as it knocked over the beastly target. "Yeah!" Shimmers shouted.
"Shimmers, your powers are back!" Trueheart said smiling.
"Yes at least partially, but I feel them returning to me!" Shimmers said fist pumping in celebration.
"But, how about trying to tap into your tummy symbol caring powers?" She said smiling while looking at him affectionately. Shimmers blushed and placed one paw behind his head.
"Oh yeah, sorry," Shimmers said looking embarassed as he got into position, set his feet apart. "Carebear's STARE!" Shimmers shouted. But nothing came out of his tummy symbol, a slight shimmer at best till that dissipated. "I said Carebear's stare!" Shimmers shouted closing his eyes trying hard even tightening his tummy muscles as his tummy symbol lit up slightly brighter that time, but unfortunately, it didn't come out. "Ohhhh come on!" Shouted Shimmers punching his tummy in frustration. Trueheart rubbed his back.
"Relax Shimmers, that's alot better than what you did yesterday," Trueheart encouraged. "Now relax, and try again." She said as she gave a demonstratiion hitting her beastly target repeatedly. Shimmers turned and faced his target, but the samething happened. Shimmers had more frustration than caring for others in his mind at the moment.
"Why can't I do it? I mastered my own powers once they came forth, and even more I even mastered all fighing forms, why can't I master this caring energy Trueheart?" Shimmers said sadly while looking at her.
"Your trying to hard my cub," She said smiling. "When you activate your stare, you must think of others, think of those others that are closest to you." She explained. Shimmers turned and was about to try again till they heard a familiar intruder.
"Ohh if it isn't the cub and the overly protective mother," Sneered Confidence. "Still trying to tap into your stare energy huh?" She said smiling in a rude manner while her tails waived behind her in random directions.
"Confidence," Trueheart said placing her hands on her hips. "What is it you want this time?" She said quickly stepping between her and Shimmers for any potential confrontation. She pointed at Shimmers.
"Thanks to him I got grounded," She said pointing at Shimmers. "Lifeheart placed some kind of magical thingy on me that prevents me not only from flying, but also prevents me from using my own cousin call." She said crossing her arms angrily having a bitch fit.
"Confidence, why do you always blame me for your troubles hmm?" Shimmers said looking up at her with some confidence in his voice. "When are you going to start being responsible for your own actions and those you hurt?"
Trueheart turned to Shimmers. "Shimmers, don't, your better than this my cub, please, just ignore her." She said smiling at him as Shimmers nodded as he sighed but let it go.
"Hey where do you think your going? Get back here!" As she tried to follow them, she got blasted by Braveheart's tummy symbol as he chuckled after knocking her down.
"Oh sorry Confidence, wrong target." This had everyone laughing as she was about to get up and reach for that lion as Shimmers looked in concern before she got hit again from behind landing on her tummy as she got laughed at even more as everyone returned to what they were doing as Shimmers snickered at this along with Trueheart as they left for there date with Bright heart as Confidence hit the clouds with her fist paws.
Shimmers and Trueheart reached the lab but this time everything was outside of it as all Magi, including the leaders, Loveheart, Defiant, Anger Heart, Guidance, Sweetheart who still had her wings clipped, Sage, and Lifeheart were also present as Confidence followed from behind. Bright Heart stood up in the front along with Nobleheart horse as everyone took a seat with the gun on display covered in the clear glass dome.
"Greetings everyone, I am glad you were all able to make it today," Smiled the Raccoon. "After a few days of investigating this mysterious gun, I have a demonstration to give. But before this a basic history, I have been doing experiments trying to see what makes this gun tick and where it came from. I have no luck in recognizing the design so its origin is unknown." He said sadly. "But I also have to report it seems not only made to target our magi protectors to drain there powers from them, it also can't be held by any of us." He said opening up the dome and demonstrating as it burned his paw as everyone shuttered at that as the racoon shook his hand to cool it off. "However, I wondered what would happen if Shimmers touched it, care to come here Shimmeringstar bear?" He inquired.
"Sure, Brighto." Shimmers said.
"Go ahead, try and touch it and pick it up." Bright Heart instructed. Shimmers sighed and picked it up remembering the pain from the last time but did as the inventor asked. He was able to hold it for a few seconds as Loveheart bear stood up.
"See? How is he able to hold that when we can...?" Loveheart's jaws dropped when he saw Shimmers paw sting in red as he dropped it to the clouds below.
"Thank you Shimmers," Said the inventor. "As you can see, this even hurts Shimmers in the same way thus proving not only is he not a spy for Noheart as the magi thought he was, it also hurts him since Shimmers truly is one one of us." Bright heart said smirking at the leaders almost tauntingly at the magi. Loveheart stood back down but Defiant got up.
"Well, there's only way to prove that once and for ALL!" Defiant Heart said not willing to accept this as he placed on a black rubber glove that was on Bright heart's table and aimed the gun at Shimmers.
"Hey, what are you doing? Put that down Defiant Heart before someone gets hurt!" Bright Heart said trying to reach for it. But he took aim at Shimmers and as if in slow motion, the ray went past Bright Heart, and the ray made its way directly at Shimmers hitting him square in the chest as the sheer force of it knocked him on his back.
"Shimmers!" Nobleheart, Trueheart, and several of the carebears and cousins shouted in concerned as they quickly gathered around him. "Are you okay? My cub please speak to me!" She said as Shimmers opened his eyes and rubbed his eyes.
"Oh, what kicked me?" Shimmers said as he was helped up with Trueheart breathing a sigh of relief as Bright Heart grabbed the gun from Defiant Heart who lifted up his paws in a innocent manner.
"Why did you do that to Shimmers?" Bright Heart said in a unusually angry tone placing the gun back in the dome and slamming the glass over it nearly breaking it.
"Well, if Shimmers truly isn't evil anymore, then his powers would be drained too." He pointed out as Shimmers stood up. "Well Shimmers, I know your powers activated at the staring facility, can you use them now? Or are you powerless just like you were yesterday?"
"I have nothing to prove to you magi anymore." Shimmers said defiantly clearly upset by this assault as he dusted himself off about to leave.
"Wait, Shimmers, so are you one of us or not?" Defiant said with a smirk on his lips as Shimmers stopped dead in his tracks.
"You want to see if I am drained? Fine, Kashikakayha!" Shimmers cupped his hands together and unleashed a even brighter while attack than he did before up into the air away from hitting anyone as he then turned and faced Defiant.
"See? He is not one of us, he is a demon of Noheart!" Defiant Heart shouted.
"No I'm sure this can be explained," Said Bright heart tapping his chin with his finger. "Lifeheart, all your magis have the same source of power or all magi magic comes from a original source in which all magi magic comes from right?" He inquired.
"That is right Bright Heart." Acknowledged Lifeheart.
"Well, Shimmers before he joined Noheart was human, so perhaps like our caring guardians friends, they're powers are different and come from different sources therefore who ever made this gun specifically for whatever reason targeted our magi protectors." Bright Heart not smirking taking that seriously as a threat to them and to all of Carelot. "But this does not prove that Shimmers is in league with whoever invented these." Bright Heart said. "So the question is who made these?"
"Perhaps Shimmers knows when he was working with Noheart," Loveheart got up crossing his arms. "Shimmers be honest with me, do you know where these guns came from?"
"No Loveheart, I would tell you if I did know, honest." Shimmers said feeling a bit sad again and feeling like he was losing a bit of his mental control here as he grew tired of being questioned about his loyalty.
"I think your hiding something about this." Loveheart coldly accused crossing his arms as Lifeheart got up. "If your telling the truth, are you willing to be put in Guidance Heart light? With you being under this you won't be able to lie." Loveheart bear smirked as he walked near Shimmers testing him again. Shimmers sighed. "Okay, I'll do it to satisfy your curiosity. Guidance heart's paws glowed and placed them on Shimmers.
"So Shimmers do you know where this gun came from?" Loveheart bear said smirking thinking his answer would be different than before.
"No Loveheart I do not know." Loveheart said as Guidance released him.
"Huh, why is it I still don't believe you?" Loveheart said crossing his arms.
"Loveheart, he just got shot, and had his paw burned, what more do you want him to do?" Guidance asked in a nuetral manner as he sighed and finally relented.
"Fine, but we need to find where this gun came from. I have a bad feeling that the people that invented this will comeback here to finish what they started." Loveheart said in a concerned tone. Shimmers was turning about to leave till Guidance Heart stepped up and stepped towards Shimmers running towards him.
"Shimmers, wait please," She said as the other magi looked surprised for this as she grabbed his paw as Anger Heart looked on with a look of why would you do that kind of look. Shimmers paused as she grabbed his paw. "I want to thank you for giving us that demonstration." She said kindly. "I'm not exactly scientifically certified, but this proves to me beyond a doubt you are a guinuine carebear and I.. I believe you when you say you don't know where the gun came from." She said in a repentant way. Shimmers turned and smiled.
"Thanks Guidance Heart, that means alot to me coming from you." Shimmers said as he smiled as she looked at him momentarily. Guidance Heart, despite all odds and how everything looked, she hugged the chosen protector.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me for ever doubting your intenions." She said almost crying which caught everyone including Shimmers by surprise as he hugged her back and smiling as many of the carebears smiled approvingly including Trueheart looking on proudly at this barrier that had to come down. Loveheart was at the ready until.
"I'm also sorry for ever hurting you or your family." Shimmers said hugging her tightly. Loveheart sighed and let his guard down and started questioning his own self if he was wrong. Although he wanted to make this right with Shimmers, he looked around and saw the disapproving looks of the magi cept for one, Passion Heart wolverine, as he looked down since he didn't want to upset the other magi in whom he was in charge of. Life Heart and Sage Heart also looked cautious, but also looked down as the two still looked at each other as if to say, sadly we still have to spy on him tonight.
"Your all buying into this bullcrap?" Confidence chided in as she stood up as Loveheart bear pushed her back down. "Hey, what did you do that for!" She said looking at him angrily.
"You caused enough trouble already young lady," Loveheart bear said. "Stay put or I'll recommend another seven days for your punishment." Loveheart bear said folding his arms as she looked away.
"Hmmphh!" Confidence snapping at him. Shimmers over heard this.
"Hey wait, punishment? What punishment are you talking about Loveheart?" Loveheart was about to comment till his little sister interrupted.
"The punishment for the incident at the Staring plex." SweetHeart said a bit sharply as she eyed Shimmers also showing him her collar.
"Oh I see." Shimmers said feeling bad about this.
"Unlike you people from the darkside, we believe in disciplining our children." Lifeheart intruded as she saw them embarassed.
"Wait, you think working for Noheart was easy for me unicorn?" Shimmers said sharply as Loveheart stood between them.
"Easy there Shimmers, this 'unicorn' is my mother." Lovegeart bear said standing in the ready.
"When I worked for Noheart, he whipped me with a cat ninetails for messing up and held me against the wall using his dark heart powers as he whipped my back." Shimmers said turning away closing his eyes as he remembered the clacking sounds of the whip as tears flowed down his eyes as Trueheart and Lifeheart both placed there paws over there mouths. "In my human form I had the scars to prove it, but you probably don't believe me either so what's the point in mentioning that?" Shimmers said as he tried to brush off the pain of the remembrance of that pain. Sweetheart kept her mouth shut as well. After a awkward silence before facing Loveheart and Lifeheart.
"Shimmers also has nightmares," Trueheart said openly as Shimmers looked at her with the look of True, why would you even mention that kind of look. "I heard him screaming for me this morning when I was knocking on his door." She admitted as Shimmers turned to her sharply.
"Trueheart, this really could of done without that detail," Shimmers said looking at her a bit hurt as Trueheart realized she shouldn't of said anything to that. Not wanting to make her feel bad, Shimmers quickly recovered. "But she consoled me and helped me, it was just a bad dream like she said." Shimmers said smiling at her as Trueheart whispered thank you to her cub.
"What was the dream about?" Sage Heart asked curiously.
"I'd rather not discuss it!" Shimmers said defensively which made Sage Heart even step back in surprise. "Sorry, but that dream was so intense, I don't want to recall it even though it burns so fresh in my mind." Shimmers said shuttering.
"Aww what's the matter, is Trueheart's cub afraid of a little dream?" Confidence mocked. "Buck buck you big chicken!" Defiant and Anger Heart were giggling till Loveheart shot them a warning glance which calmed them up real fast. Shimmers then turned and faced them.
"Fine, you want to know what the dream is about?" Shimmer said gritting his teeth as Loveheart saw Shimmers upset for the first time. "Fine I'll tell you. In the dream Noheaart came to invade Carelot on my first day here when my powers were not with me, and while me and Noheart battled, you magi just stood there and failed to do your duty to protect the carebears from evil and I perished in the dream along with Trueheart because I was unable to tap into my powers to save her!" Shimmers shouted shaking there trying to hold back his tears as this shook even Confidence as Nobleheart hugged Trueheart in a comforting manner. "That's right, you guy's just stood there and let Noheart hurt everyone and everything, but as I said before, it was just a dream right?" Shimmers said as he was about to leave till he turned and faced Lifeheart and SageHeart. "I understand as parents what your doing, my parents were quiet lenient with me growing up when I messed up, but I think your punishment on those two is a bit harsh don't you think?"
"Oh no Shimmers, now your just feeling sorry for us, we don't need your pity." Confidence said spitting on the cloud in front of her. Sweetheart on the other hand stepped forward.
"I,.. I do." Sweetheart said. "Please I learned my lesson, I promise I won't cause anymore trouble." Sweetheart said as a tear went down her cheek.
"But as parents, isn't it also up to you to show them the right way in a loving way in a loving manner?" Shimmers pointed out.
"Shimmers, they caused trouble and both of them have been out of control lately so we felt this a fitting punishment." Sage Heart said defending there decision.
"I know, but I can't help feeling sorry for them. I think Sweetheart truly regrets what she did," Shimmers said. "Confidence I don't think she cares one way or the other." As this caused the fennec to cup her paws together as she stood up as Loveheart held her back. Lifeheart and SageHeart both sighed as Lifeheart's unicorn glowed.
"Fine, will grant you this one request this once as a good sign of fate we are willing to listen to you." Lifeheart pointed out as Sweetheart was freed as she wiggled her wings and flew around then landed near Shimmers.
"Thank you Shimmers." She said for the time being as Confidence got up.
"Hey, what about me? If she get's off being punished then so should I!" Confidence said gritting her teeth.
"You young lady will remain bound since you clearly have not learned your lesson." Lifeheart said looking at her crossly.
"Or would you like your time to be doubled?" Sage Heart bear said crossing his arms as she lowered her head in defeat.
"Okay until I have further information, everyone your dismissed." Said Bright Heart raccoon as he pushed the wheel table with the gun on it back into the lab.

Shimmers and Trueheart then arrived at Aqua's house while Trueheart held onto Heart will wolf as Shimmers was battling both Lone and Aqua bear at the sametime. Shimmers was alot more fluid in his new body doing forward somersaults and over heard strikes with his saber as Lone and Aqua bear took a quick step back, Lonesomeheart shouting. "Carebear's stare!"
"Dolphin fire!" Shouted Aqua bear. Shimmers countered with cupping his hands together. "Kashikakayha!" Shouted Shimmers unleashing a powerful white beam of energy clashing with the stare and dolphin fire till Shimmers was eventually over come and was thrown back wards onto his back as Lone and Aqua bear placed there sabers just above his chest.
"I yield! I yield!" Shimmers said as his two friends giggled and took away the saber swords and offered a paw each pulling Shimmers to his feet.
"Your getting stronger Shimmers." Aqua bear praised clapping his paws together.
"Not to mention faster." Lonesomeheart said as they deactivated there sabers placing them away in there invisible pockets.
"Okay I think thats enough training for one day." Shimmers said as he went over to a nearby cloud fence with three over hanging towels that had each bears respective colors and symbols on them as Shimmers took his towel wiping the sweat from his head.
"Yeah agreed." Said the two bears in unison doing the same.
"Hey Shimmers, that was a very nice thing you did for Sweetheart." Trueheart said nodding in approval.
"Thanks Trueheart," Shimmers said as she paused looking at him as if to add more. "Now what? Did I do something wrong?" Shimmers said looking at Trueheart.
"No not wrong, but I was thinking since you already got the approval of one magi and earned the respect of another, perhaps you should go and try to talk to Loveheart bear privately to try and patch things up? What do you think Shimmers?" Trueheart asked.
"He hates my guts, you know he won't listen." Shimmers said groaning at this.
"Shimmers, don't you want to unite the magi with the rest of the kingdom of caring?" Trueheart asked.
"Of course I do, I would do anything to make that happen if that were possible. But your asking me to do the impossible." Shimmers griped as he placed his towel back down over the fence as Trueheart petted the wolf's head as he closed his eyes smiling sitting in her lap.
"Yeah but you should at least try Shimmers." Aqua bear encouraged.
"Yeah, plus that would put an end to all of this senseless fighting," Lonesomeheart said smiling.
"You two as well? What is this gang up on Shimmers day?" Shimmers said shaking clearly not wanting to take on this request.
"Oh come on, will go with you," They offered. "And since they can't sense our heart caring presence like we can one another, will watch from a distance just in case you need anything." Aqua bear said smiling at Shimmers.
"Yeah Shimmers your my hero! You can do this!" Heart Will Wolf said shaking his fist in the air giggling which made Shimmers blush.
"How could I turn such a request down?" Shimmers said blushing nervously scratching the top of his head as they all laughed together.

Loveheart was in his house alone and was just getting ready to take his shower when he heard knocking at the door."Just a second!" He shouted as he hung up his lime green table on the towel wrack with his heart symbols as he then trotted quickly towards the door.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Shimmers said looking back at where his friends were hiding behind the white heart shaped cloud trash bins.
"Shh, you got this Shimmers." Fists pumped Aqua bear before being grabbed around his muzzle and pulled back out of site as the door lime green door opened.
"Yes," Loveheart bear said smiling till he saw who it was. "You!" Loveheart bear said looking at him crossly narrowing his eyes. "What do you want?" He said with a raspiness in his voice which made Shimmers shake a bit almost hesitatingly to speak.
"Hi Loveheart," Shimmers said waving at him. "I am here to try and make amends with you." Shimmers said right to the point. Loveheart bear deep down was admiring this bear, he had to admit he was persistant.
"Oh you mean forget that you ever invaded Carelot and made a fool of Confidence and the magi earlier today? Sure why not let's have some crumpets and tea while were at it." Loveheart bear said with a very sarcastic smile waving his head back and forth in a mocking manner.
"Please Loveheart, can't we please place aside all of this paranoia? All of this fighting has done nothing but divide us and I just want to live here with you magi in peace." Shimmers said in a reconcilatory manner trying to reach out and shake the bear's hand as he quickly withdrew his paw.
"No!" Loveheart said abruptly and to the point. "You attacking us, then on top of us saying we would not defend the carebears from evil from your so called dream to make us look bad or to insinuate we would neglect our duties is most offensive! Now get out of here! I have nothing more to say to you!" He said as Shimmers tried to still talk.
"Lovheart, please wai..!" Loveheart slammed the door on his face as Shimmers expression turned from one of trying to do things right, to a frown on his face as he sniffled as Loveheart bear could still be heard storming off.
"Who does he think he is! Unbefu....lievable!" Loveheart could be heard by only Shimmers. Shimmers paws dropped and down to his sides as he walked away as his three pals came out.
"Shimmers were sorry, we didn't think it would go like that." Trueheart said also was besides herself.
"Its not your fault," Shimmers said. "Its mine and mine alone." Shimmers said as he walked away briskly along with his friends following along. Trueheart quickly tried to hold his paw to comfort him. Shimmers didn't refuse it but kept walking fast.
"Whoa, hold on there Shimmers." Trueheart said. "You gave it a try, and I'm sorry, I think this was too soon." She said admittingly.
"Please Trueheart, I just want to go home now." Shimmers said sniffling a bit as Trueheart hugged him along with Lone and Aqua bear.

In Loveheart bear's house, Loveheart was feeling bad for some reason after he got done with his bantering. He looked at himself in the mirror and didn't like the bear he saw ashamed giving into the peer pressure of his own magi. Why did he back down? He is the leader, why is he caring so deeply of the ones that he is leading think of him or his current actions?" He said to himself but his smile left his face looking down and a bit sad. "I know I don't fully trust Shimmers, but I feel bad about being so mean to him." He said with his lips quivering. "Hey, why am I feeling like this? I shouldn't feel sad. I should feel good." He said as his smile left his face once more looking in the mirror till he looked in anger at the mirror and punched it hard cracking it now showing three parts as blood dribbled from his fisted paw as he ran the water.

The three walked him home as the five friends waived goodbye with Heart Will Wolf having a tear go down his eyes for the first time witnessing the cruelty of just how uncaring a magi could be. "Goodnight Shimmers, see you tomorrow in the morning okay?" Trueheart said smiling weakly trying to lighten up the saddened mood they all were in.
"Yes ma'am." Shimmers said smiling weakly back to her as he waived them off with Heart Will Wolf being carried in Trueheart's paw underneath his arms as Shimmers closed the door. As soon as Shimmers closed the door he was sniffling and quickly ran and turned the shower on to make sure no one could hear him.

"Now, the moment we all been waiting for, to prove if this bear is up to something." Sage Heart said as Lifeheart unicorn closed her eyes concentrating.
"Scrying pool of unicorn magic, reveal to us the chosen ones true intentions." She said as her horn began to glow as it then showed a small magical over head of the two looking up as smoke forming a circle then the middle began to glow like a television screen. They saw Shimmers in the shower wiping his face thinking he was washing his face or something.
"Now will know what he is up to." Sage Heart said determinedly till he saw a tear going down Shimmers cheek. "Wait, is he...crying?" Sage Heart bear said looking very concerned. They heard the shower and Shimmers speaking to himeslf.
"No not again, please, why do I always break down crying each night!" Shimmers said as he tried to hold it in with his lip ends quivering till his muzzled opened up and he began sobbing out of control.
"Aww, he was telling the truth Lifeheart." Sage Heart said almost reaching for the image as he shook with guilt.
"Yeah, he would not be crying if he was spying for Noheart," Lifeheart pointed out as they both looked at each other with concerned looks as they then continued watching. Shimmers somehow as he was crying managed to scrub himself and his foot paws then set the scrub brush overhanging over the shower faucet as he turned it off. Shimmers then got toothpaste and tried brushing his teeth but he shook, as the toothpaste missed his mouth as he dropped his toothbrush and began bawling again.
"We were wrong," Lifeheart said forlingly. "So very wrong about him SageHeart." Lifeheart said as a tear went down her cheek as well as Sage Heart looked down in shame at this. Shimmers wiped his face after running the faucet water over his eyes time and time again but was unable to stop crying or hold the tears back. But somehow, someway, he managed to find his way to his own bed and cried himself to sleep as the two kept on looking more in concern to make sure Shimmers would be okay than to spy on him.
After four hours had passed the two were still watching as Shimmers had finally settled down and was asleep till he began to stir in his sleep. "Noo, Noo Noheart, please, leave the carebears alone! Leave the magi alone!" He said stirring in his sleep as the two looked on deeply concerned. "Noo Noheart, you will not hurt them! Trueheart!" He shouted but still remained asleep till they saw a familiar pink pegasus.
"Hey, what is she doing there?" Sage Heart said. His question was soon answered as the unicorn star on her head glowed showering Shimmers head making it glow along with her star as Shimmers slowly settled down into a relaxed sleep as Sweetheart closed her eyes brushing her brow of sweat from this. She then quietly left the house without waking up Shimmers as the two parents were grateful for what she had done. They even saw Shimmers smile in his dreams for the next hour or so till he suddenly woke up.
Shimmers stood up in bed, smiling momentarily till the smile left his face. "No sadly that would never happen with me and the magi being united as one family. It was a nice dream though." Shimmers said out loud as he threw the cloud blanket off of his legs and sat up in bed looking outside seeing it was still nighttime.
"What he is up to?" Sage Heart asked out loud as they both were observing Shimmers. Shimmers sniffled and went to the drawer where his belongings were as he also got out his caring square case and began throwing his clothes in there. "Noo, Noo Shimmers don't!" He said not being able to bare this.
"He's running away!" They both shouted looking at each other as they both got up and left the house as the scrying image disappeared as they shut the door behind them.
