I shouldn't laugh but, Carla's response to Matilde's comment and Matilde's reaction to the response are rather funny.
BTW, I know most people in wheelchairs don't like people to feel sorry for them but, I do feel sympathy. They are, after all, limited in what they can do. I also prefer to not call them disabled; I prefer to say they have limited abilities. After all, disabled implies that the person can't do anything without assistance whereas limited abilities implies they can do things for themselves just not everything they may want or need to do. Am I making sense here?
